The Nate Robinson Trio

you're listening to live recorded samples of the band

Salt Lake City's finest reggae band Two and a Half White Guys was originally a three-piece group so named by original member Marko who is half Filipino. Over the past ten years the group has grown in size (now 6 members) and popularity, making club crowds move their feet both locally and nationally with their unique blend of reggae, ska, calypso, and jazz.

Nathan Robinson, founder and frontman of the band, decided in 2007 to re-create the original feel of an intimate trio with former member of the band Rob Bennion. In this smaller group Nate sings while playing bass drum, high hat, percussion, guitar, and harmonica; Rob Bennion plays tenor and bari saxes, flute, and effects pedals; and Aaron Okura from reggae band Soul Redemption plays bass.

The Nate Robinson Trio can be seen at local clubs such as the "Owl Bar" at Sundance Resort or the "Hogwaller Pub" near Sandy. They can be hired for private parties, events or special occasions. As a trio they take up little space but sound full by playing multiple instruments.
